About Me
M.Sc. Research Support Officer (RSO) at the University of Malta, where I teach computers to watch the news. My research combines scene detection, facial recognition, OCR, and a chatbot into a system that dissects broadcast media at scale.
When I'm not working on my research, I work at the Environment & Resources Authority (ERA), training plant recognition models from satellite imagery, building geoportals, and making Malta's habitat mapping more intelligent.
When I'm not debugging models or reading papers, I'm probably playing piano, cleaning up Malta's coast with Zibel NGO, or fine-tuning a chatbot that texts like me.
